Finding the Sacred in Life – November 19, 2024
$7.00
Recorded online meeting, November 19, 2024. Approx. 2 hours.
The habit of focusing on what is wrong with oneself, with others, and with the world runs deep. In order to maintain balance, it is helpful to not only be watchful of this tendency, but to remind oneself of the simple beauty which lives in the midst of ordinary life.
Beauty resides within the ephemeral, with what is impermanent, as well as within the eternal, manifesting as Truth: the unchanging reality living within all things.
Beauty requires attention, and when we are more attentive to life, we tend to see more of the beauty within life. In order to do so, we need to notice what is all around us, getting out of our narrow way of perceiving reality, and opening a portal to the living essence of Truth.
Keynotes:
The sacred is the present moment.
Opening to experience (the present moment) means, including all that is arising. Yourself – as you are right now.
The role of the conditioned heart in mind in preventing or inhibiting realization.
Connecting with sensing.
Accessing the felt sense of presence helps make Truth embodied and incarnate.
The softening of self consciousness – turning ourselves into an object.
Separation in relation to nature.
Placing meaning over life.
