Throughout the retreat, participants explore the art of meeting all that arises with tenderness and openness. By embracing discomfort, emptiness, and vulnerability, the heart begins to trust the unfolding of life and the benevolent presence underlying it. There is a deep invitation to distinguish the divine from human projections, to rest in unconditional trust, and to cultivate devotion, humility, and love as natural expressions of awakening. Practices such as humming and guided meditation help attune the body and mind to the vibration of stillness, allowing silence to deepen into a living, breathing awareness.
As the retreat unfolds, the teachings guide participants toward dissolving self-imposed limitations and rediscovering their essential wholeness. Through sensing, resting, and allowing, one learns to recognize and release the patterns of separation that veil true nature. What remains is a felt recognition of unity, a return to the unchanging awareness that is both still and alive, silent and full. Cost: $125.00Join Susanne Marie and a group of dedicated spiritual seekers into the heart of the simple, direct and ever-present truth which Susanne makes accessible in a clear, integrated, and unencumbered manner. This retreat took place at Vajra Vidya Retreat Centre: May 2024. Throughout the course of her 7-day retreat, Susanne touches on a range of topics revealing radiant Truth naturally arising out of the lineages of the wisdom streams. Topics included: Relaxing and settling into oneself, allowing loving attention to support whatever is arising; Drawing focus to what it is that allows things to be. Susanne invites the group to set down the content (story) that one holds onto, revealing unbounded emptiness, opening one up to the Natural State. The spiritual journey, as undertaken by the seeker, is mapped out in a clear and chronological way. She gives context to why one embarks on the spiritual path and the mechanism, or role, the seeker plays as it is guided home. She brings emphasis on the importance of including the human—one’s emotional and historical self—in this journey. Bringing awareness to the fact that everything, without exception, is That (inherent Divinity). Susanne explains the importance of being attuned to Mother Earth, one’s cooperation with her, and the role that Nature plays as a teacher, in revealing unveiled reality. Retreatants are guided through meditations in how to recognize and let go of the conceptual self and rest in Being. Many of these meditations are somatic, in that they incorporate one’s body and sensory perceptions. Susanne explores and gives guidance on what it is like to live as the co-arising of both form (human) and formlessness (spirit). And how these two interweave and exist seamlessly as one great whole.

Using direct pointings and somatic and guided meditations, one will explore through direct experience, the spacious quality-less presence of formless awareness, its silent presence both within and without the body, as well as the significance of being human and the challenges it
