Focused Practices to Help You Awaken

In order to wake up and have Truth stabilize within, you have to not only desire it with your whole heart, you also have to one pointedly work towards it. In this 4-part series, Susanne walks you through what is required to realize Reality, including guidance as to where to place your attention, as truth is locatable and resides in a grounded way, within you. Realizing and living as your true nature requires a combination of focused concentration, as well as relaxation, in order for what we call awakening to take place. In essence, awakening is the invitation to open to and then rest, in what already lives undivided within. It is making what you contain, conscious. Realizing your true nature is attainable, and it is your birthright.
In each session, Susanne walks one through a specific guided meditation helping you to focus on placing attention on presence within, which helps to grow one’s ability to rest in being. This is followed by a teaching pointing you to your true nature. Within this course, a light is shone on how to feel presence in one’s body. As this was a live course, there are wonderful follow up spiritual practice questions, from other sincere practitioners.

These five themes are especially useful during a time of uncertainty. Uncertainty offers an opportunity to go deeper into oneself, accessing the timeless reality which is stable and constant. This is a time to invite the fruition of your spiritual practice to come forward. If you do not make the inner decision to live from what you know to be true, fear and anxiety can consume you.
The current invitation from life is to allow the process of dismantling identity (how we define ourselves), and let go of what no longer serves you and others – this includes the illusion of control. This is ultimately for the good of the whole, as the way we are currently living is not sustainable. Life is asking us to rise to the occasion and change.
